The world conditions us to look outward for answers, but mindfulness reminds us that the guidance we seek often resides within.
Through mindful attention, we tune in to the subtle signals of our mind and body, recognising the innate wisdom that leads us towards clarity and balance.
Rather than relying solely on external conditions, we pause and turn our attention inward, patiently cultivating confidence in our inner knowing.
Trusting this inner wisdom is not blind faith.
It is the kind of confidence that grows through awareness and by meeting each moment as it is.
We learn to discern when we are acting our of habit or reacting impulsively. We distinguish unskillful patterns that steer us away from living wisely.
We acknowledge our capacities—for insight, resilience, healing and growth—and invite ourselves to see each experience as a potential teacher, along with the lesson it brings.
What is the body telling me right now?
What is this feeling trying to teach me?
Am I moving towards darkness or light?
How is this moment helping me grow?
We need not seek immediate answers, as wisdom may arise in unexpected ways.
We simply practice trusting every moment that arises in our awareness, and welcoming every experience as a path to embracing the wisdom within ourselves.
In this Take A Pause session recorded on 6 April 2025, Erin led the TAP community in tuning in to the body and trusting its wisdom as our guide. She closed the session by sharing an excerpt from the book, I May Be Wrong, by Björn Natthiko Lindeblad.
