In this livestream session recorded on 22 October 2023, Mindfulness Coach Erin Lee invites us to reflect on why we practice mindfulness meditation, and to return to our 初心 (chū xīn), or "original heart" - especially when the difficulties that arise during meditation can be discouraging for us. Erin guides the group in a simple breath and body awareness, noticing obstacles during the practice, and bringing to mind our original heart as a way to work with difficult moments. The session ends with a reading of Edgar Albert Guest's poem "The Few".
